The Barn

Rancho Bella Rosa is a premier equestrian boarding facility in Firestone, CO, just 35 minutes north of Denver on nearly 14 acres. It is conveniently located one mile from I-25, and offers easy access to Firestone Trail, a 5.7 to 9.6-mile multi-use rail-trail spanning Firestone, Frederick and Dacono.

We offer exceptional care and comfort for your horse, with spacious heated indoor stalls, outdoor runs, daily turnout, and attentive, knowledgeable staff dedicated to your horse's well-being. Recent Improvements

Grounds & Infrastructure

Remodeled the gazebo and green area (fountains, seating, outdoor kitchen, solar lighting)
Graded property throughout to eliminate potholes, uneven surfaces, and standing water
Added asphalt improvements throughout the facility, including the main entrance
Installed new gates, stone pillars, Rancho Bella Rosa signage, and solar lighting throughout the property
Painted fencing throughout the facility
Added a new storage building for maintenance operations
Began remodeling residential homes on the property

Barn & Wash/Cross-Tie Areas

Remodeled and restored the indoor wash rack; added/improved outdoor wash racks
Expanded cross-tie areas, including spaces for visiting farriers and horse care professionals, and designated student/summer camp areas with cubbies
Updated tack room door hardware and security access
Installed horse information and emergency contact cards at each assigned stall
Painted and updated stall fronts and doors with the Rancho Bella Rosa logo
Remodeled the Main Barn office and the men's and women's bathrooms

Arena & Equipment

Removed deteriorated insulation in the Main Arena; ongoing repairs and upgrades underway
Added lighting improvements throughout outdoor riding spaces
Repainted and restored existing poles, jumps, and standards
Added new hunter/jumper show-quality jumps and poles for events and training

Quonset & Judges' Booths

Improved lighting, water access, and functionality in the Quonset area (quarantine, hay/alfalfa storage, jump storage)
Remodeled both judges' booths inside and out, including finishes, numbering, branding, and Wi-Fi

Rancho Bella Rosa has been completely transformed under its new ownership and WOW — what a difference! As someone who boards and rides my horse there, I’ve had a front-row seat to all the incredible improvements they’ve made, and the property looks more stunning than ever.

The new owners have raised the bar in every way. They have put their heart into making this a place horse owners can be proud to call home. The facility is well-maintained, thoughtfully upgraded, and you can feel the dedication that’s gone into every corner of the property. Since Joe and Arleen took ownership \and lovingly changed the name to Rancho Bella Rosa, they and their crews have been working diligently to get the stable into tip top shape. This is certainly no easy feat. It is a long and arduous process and most certainly a labor of love. They have had to balance all of the new construction with the needs of the horses and boarders. There has been a great deal of work to be done and every day there are wonderful upgrades and changes. They prioritized the footing in the indoor which has improved drastically and there have been so many thoughtful improvements. This diamond in the rough is beginning to shine once again. The boarders, horses and trainers are lovely little community and I’m so grateful to be a part of it!!
